They were having a new website designed and there was a direction that end user images would be black and white. We always capture in colour and convert to black and white. There was a second direction that the final images needed to be on a light grey background and a full white background. We carried this edit at final retouching stage with complexion and tone adjustments, then created the grey and white background versions.
